Our 30 foot Class 2 CCA Treated Southern Yellow Pine Poles are grown, debarked, and treated in the United States. They are manufactured to ANSI O5.1 specification. 30 ft utility poles are treated to the latest American Wood Preservers Association standards to prevent decay and damage from insects.
Our 30 foot wood poles are the perfect length for tennis courts and parking lots outside stores. You can add 2 light arms per side, 4 in total. Each arm can accommodate 240 lbs per arm. One of the benefits of wood poles includes a long life span.
Options Available:
Cross Arms (4 per pole, 2 per side) and Mounting Brackets. Customer is responsible for mounting Crossarm after poles are delivered. Poles do not ship with cross arms attached.
These are the lights we typically mount on the crossarms. Up to 6 lights per arm, not to exceed 240 total pounds of fixtures and hardware.
Delivery is made with a flatbed truck and the customer is responsible for offloading. Offloading requires a forklift or appropriate similar vehicle to offload ? customer supplied. Customer is responsible for any costs associated with delivery rescheduling because of improper scheduling or not having the proper offloading equipment available at the time of delivery.
Pricing: Does not include cost of shipping. Shipping is available to the lower 48 USA states. We can supply a budgetary shipping quote or a firm shipping quote that is good for 14 days to your delivery location.
Disclaimer: LED Lighting Supply is not responsible for improper loading (ie what is mounted to the pole), installation costs, or foundation design of light poles. Dimensions and specifications of poles are subject to change without notice but the pole top and butt dimensions will always be within ANSI specifications. Wood poles are the ideal option for most field projects as concrete poles require more frequent maintenance and replacement. While our main product line is southern yellow pine, we at times are able to offer other species including douglas fir and red pine. CCA treatment generally will result in the poles being free of insects for decades to come.
Please be advised that our wood poles are covered solely by a 1 year-year workmanship warranty, which ensures that the poles are free from defects from the manufacturing process, and structural integrity, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Professional-Grade Utility Pole Solution
Built for environments where reliable infrastructure is essential, this 30-foot Class 2 Southern Yellow Pine pole delivers the structural integrity needed for demanding outdoor lighting applications. Engineered to handle significant loads with its capacity for up to four cross arms, this pole provides a robust foundation for comprehensive area illumination projects.
What makes this fixture valuable for buyers is its American-manufactured construction combined with CCA treatment that ensures long-term performance against decay and insect damage. With its 25-foot above-grade height and direct burial installation method, this pole offers the perfect balance of visibility and stability for commercial lighting systems.
Comparison to Legacy Lighting
Unlike traditional metal pole solutions, this Southern Yellow Pine construction provides natural resilience while maintaining cost-effectiveness for large-scale installations. Manufactured to ANSI O5.1 specifications and treated to current American Wood Preservers Association standards, this pole offers superior longevity compared to untreated alternatives.
- Supports up to 240 pounds per cross arm versus lighter-duty alternatives
- Direct burial installation eliminates need for complex foundation work
- Natural wood construction provides better weather resistance than basic steel options

Benefits of This Fixture
Energy Savings & ROI
Designed to deliver long-term value through its robust construction and minimal maintenance requirements, this pole supports comprehensive lighting systems that maximize coverage per installation point. The ability to mount multiple fixtures per cross arm optimizes your lighting investment while reducing the total number of poles required for area coverage.
Light Quality
With its 25-foot above-grade height, this pole positions lighting fixtures at the optimal elevation for broad, even illumination distribution. The stable platform provided by the graduated wood construction ensures consistent fixture positioning, maintaining light quality over time without the flex common in lighter-duty alternatives.
Maintenance Reduction
Built with CCA-treated Southern Yellow Pine, this pole resists decay and insect damage that typically plague untreated wood installations. The natural resilience of properly treated wood construction means fewer replacements and repairs compared to basic steel poles that may suffer from corrosion in challenging environments.
Safety
Engineered for high performance in outdoor applications, the Class 2 rating and substantial burial depth provide exceptional stability even in adverse weather conditions. The 240-pound load capacity per cross arm ensures safe fixture mounting with adequate safety margins for wind and ice loading.
