Disclaimer: LED Lighting Supply is not responsible for improper loading (ie what is mounted to the piling), installation costs, or foundation design of piling. Dimensions and specifications of pilings are subject to change without notice but the tip and butt dimensions will always be within ASTM specifications. While our main product line is southern yellow pine, we at times are able to offer other species including douglas fir and red pine. All poles are treated with CCA unless specified otherwise. Our standard treatment is .60 pounds per cubic foot.

Please be advised that our wood pilings are covered solely by a 1-year workmanship warranty, which ensures that the pilings are free from defects from the manufacturing process, and structural integrity, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Professional-Grade Foundation Solution

This 30-foot Class C Southern Yellow Pine piling delivers the structural integrity and longevity that marine, foundation, and heavy construction projects demand. Built with .60 CCA treatment and manufactured to ASTM D25 standards, this piling provides dependable performance in challenging environments where decay resistance and load-bearing capacity are critical.

Legacy Replacement Comparison

When upgrading from untreated timber or lower-grade pilings, this Class C solution offers superior protection against decay and insect damage through its CCA treatment process. Unlike basic foundation materials, this piling is engineered to handle demanding conditions with consistent dimensional specifications - maintaining a minimum 6-inch tip diameter and 12-inch diameter at three feet from the butt. By comparison, this treated option significantly extends service life compared to untreated alternatives while meeting current AWPA standards for preservation.

Installation

  • Pre-cut to 30-foot length for immediate deployment

  • Technical support for treatment level selection based on environmental conditions

Applications

For facilities that require reliable foundation support in marine environments, waterfront construction, and ground contact applications, this Class C piling provides the structural performance needed for long-term stability. In many commercial settings, these pilings serve as the foundation for docks, piers, building supports, and retaining wall systems where ground contact and moisture exposure are constant concerns.
