Delivery is made with a flatbed truck and the customer is responsible for offloading. Offloading requires a forklift or appropriate similar machine (customer supplied). Customer is responsible for any costs associated with delivery rescheduling because of improper scheduling or not having the proper offloading equipment available at the time of delivery.

Pricing: Does not include cost of shipping. Shipping is available to the lower 48 USA states. We can supply a budgetary shipping quote or a firm shipping quote that is good for 14 days to your delivery location.

Disclaimer: LED Lighting Supply is not responsible for improper loading (ie what is mounted to the piling), installation costs, or foundation design of piling. Dimensions and specifications of pilings are subject to change without notice but the tip and butt dimensions will always be within ASTM specifications. While our main product line is southern yellow pine, we at times are able to offer other species including douglas fir and red pine. All poles are treated with CCA unless specified otherwise. Our standard treatment is .60 pounds per cubic foot.

Please be advised that our wood pilings are covered solely by a 1-year workmanship warranty, which ensures that the pilings are free from defects from the manufacturing process, and structural integrity, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Heavy-Duty Marine and Industrial Foundation Solution

For facilities that require substantial structural support in marine, industrial, or waterfront applications, this 30-foot Class A Southern Yellow Pine piling delivers proven performance. Built for environments where soil conditions and load-bearing demands challenge standard foundation systems, this American-grown timber provides the dimensional stability and treatment protection needed for long-term installations.

Engineered to handle demanding conditions with its robust 14-inch minimum diameter at the base tapering to 9 inches at the tip, this piling offers the structural integrity that engineers specify for critical applications. What makes this foundation solution valuable for buyers is its combination of premium Southern Yellow Pine density and comprehensive CCA treatment at 0.60 pounds per cubic foot, ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments.

Comparing to Traditional Foundation Materials

Unlike traditional concrete or steel foundation options, this treated Southern Yellow Pine piling provides natural flexibility that adapts to ground movement while maintaining structural integrity. When upgrading from untreated timber systems, the CCA treatment process penetrates deep into the wood fiber structure, creating a protective barrier that concrete alternatives cannot match in marine environments where salt exposure and moisture cycles demand specialized material properties.

Operational Advantages

Load-Bearing Capacity

Built with Class A specifications, this piling supports substantial vertical and lateral loads through its engineered taper design. The 44-inch minimum circumference three feet from the butt end provides the load distribution needed for heavy structural applications, while the dense Southern Yellow Pine grain structure delivers consistent performance under stress.

Environmental Resistance

Designed to deliver long-term protection against decay and insect damage through comprehensive CCA treatment, this piling maintains structural integrity in wet and marine environments. In real-world use, the treatment penetration ensures that moisture exposure and soil contact do not compromise the wood's load-bearing properties over time.

Installation Durability

Engineered for high performance in driving applications, the tapered design and dense Southern Yellow Pine construction resist splitting and damage during installation. From a safety perspective, the consistent dimensional specifications ensure predictable behavior during pile driving operations, reducing installation complications and project delays.

Installation Details

  • Suitable for standard pile driving equipment with appropriate hammer weight for 30-foot installation depth
  • Tapered design facilitates penetration while maintaining structural integrity during driving operations
  • Pre-treated surface eliminates field treatment requirements, reducing installation time and labor costs
  • Weight range of 1000-1200 pounds requires appropriate lifting and positioning equipment for safe handling
