Our 25 foot Class 5 CCA Treated Southern Yellow Pine Poles are grown, debarked, and treated in the United States. They are manufactured to ANSI O5.1 specification. 25 ft utility poles are treated to the latest American Wood Preservers Association standards to prevent decay and damage from insects.
Our 25 foot wood poles are the perfect length for tennis courts and parking lots outside stores. You can add 1 light arms per side, 2 in total. Each arm can accommodate 240 lbs per arm. One of the benefits of wood poles includes a long life span.
Options Available:
Cross Arms (2 per pole, 1 per side) and Mounting Brackets. Customer is responsible for mounting Crossarm after poles are delivered. Poles do not ship with cross arms attached.
These are the lights we typically mount on the crossarms. Up to 6 lights per arm, not to exceed 240 total pounds of fixtures and hardware.
Delivery is made with a flatbed truck and the customer is responsible for offloading. Offloading requires a forklift or appropriate similar vehicle to offload ? customer supplied. Customer is responsible for any costs associated with delivery rescheduling because of improper scheduling or not having the proper offloading equipment available at the time of delivery.
Pricing: Does not include cost of shipping. Shipping is available to the lower 48 USA states. We can supply a budgetary shipping quote or a firm shipping quote that is good for 14 days to your delivery location.
Disclaimer: LED Lighting Supply is not responsible for improper loading (ie what is mounted to the pole), installation costs, or foundation design of light poles. Dimensions and specifications of poles are subject to change without notice but the pole top and butt dimensions will always be within ANSI specifications. Wood poles are the ideal option for most field projects as concrete poles require more frequent maintenance and replacement. While our main product line is southern yellow pine, we at times are able to offer other species including douglas fir and red pine. CCA treatment generally will result in the poles being free of insects for decades to come.
Please be advised that our wood poles are covered solely by a 1 year-year workmanship warranty, which ensures that the poles are free from defects from the manufacturing process, and structural integrity, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Professional Grade Wood Utility Pole Solution
For facilities that require dependable overhead lighting infrastructure, this 25-foot Class 5 Southern Yellow Pine utility pole delivers proven performance in demanding outdoor environments. Built to ANSI O5.1 specifications and manufactured in the United States, this CCA-treated pole provides reliable support for lighting systems across commercial and recreational applications.
Legacy Replacement Comparison
When upgrading from aging utility infrastructure, this Southern Yellow Pine pole offers significant advantages over deteriorating legacy systems. Unlike older untreated poles that fail prematurely due to decay and insect damage, this CCA-treated solution meets current American Wood Preservers Association standards for extended service life. The direct burial installation eliminates complex foundation requirements while the 440-520 pound construction provides superior stability compared to lightweight alternatives that compromise safety under load.
Performance Benefits
Load Capacity
Engineered to handle demanding conditions with dual cross arm capability, this pole supports up to 240 pounds per arm without compromising structural integrity. The 19-inch minimum circumference at the pole top and 25.5-inch circumference six feet from the butt ensure reliable load distribution across the entire structure, making it ideal for multi-fixture lighting installations.
Structural Design
What makes this fixture valuable for buyers is the precision-engineered taper from 8.1 inches at the base measurement point to 6 inches at the top. This graduated design optimizes wind resistance while maintaining the strength needed for lighting equipment. Additionally, the 4.5-foot burial depth provides exceptional stability in varied soil conditions.
Treatment Protection
Built with CCA treatment throughout the entire pole structure, this solution resists decay and insect damage that typically destroys untreated wood poles within years. The treatment penetrates deep into the Southern Yellow Pine, ensuring long-term protection even in high-moisture environments where lighting poles face the greatest preservation challenges.
