Our CCA Treated 25 Foot Wood Pole Class 5 Treated Ponderosa Pine Poles are grown, debarked, and treated in the United States. They are manufactured to ANSI O5.1 specification. Poles are pressure treated and preservative treated to the latest American Wood Preservers Association standards to prevent damage from termites, decay and rot regardless of the species used.
Our 25 ft round wood poles are perfect for sports fields, baseball fields, and a utility pole project. You can add up to 2 light arms per pole. Each arm can accommodate 240 lbs per arm. Number of arms and lights depends on the class of pole you select. The class will determine the diameter at the base. Availability can change based on the quantity and length required as different sizes can have different lead times. Our poles are built with durability in mind to ensure long-lasting performance.
Delivery is made with a flatbed truck and the customer is responsible for offloading. Offloading requires a fork lift or appropriate similar vehicle to offload – customer supplied. Customers are responsible for any costs associated with delivery rescheduling because of improper scheduling or not having the proper offloading equipment or area to store poles available at the time of delivery. Please contact a sales representative prior to purchasing to ensure all the project details are clear.
Pricing: Does not include cost of shipping. Shipping is available to the lower 48 USA states. We can supply a budgetary shipping quote or a firm shipping quote that is good for 14 days.
Disclaimer: LED Lighting Supply is not responsible for improper loading (ie what is mounted to the pole), installation costs, or foundation design of light poles. Dimensions and specifications of poles are subject to change without notice but the pole top and butt dimensions will always be within ANSI specifications. Wood poles are the ideal option for most field projects as concrete poles require more frequent maintenance and replacement.
Please be advised that our wood poles are covered solely by a 1 year-year workmanship warranty, which ensures that the poles are free from defects from the manufacturing process, and structural integrity, for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Professional-Grade Wood Pole Solution
Built for environments where reliable utility infrastructure is essential, this 25-foot Class 4 Ponderosa Pine pole delivers the structural integrity needed for demanding outdoor applications. Engineered to handle substantial lighting loads while maintaining long-term stability, this CCA-treated pole provides a proven foundation for sports lighting, area illumination, and utility installations.
What makes this fixture valuable for buyers is its combination of American-sourced materials and ANSI O5.1 specification manufacturing. With its specialized construction allowing up to two cross arms and a maximum weight capacity of 240 pounds per arm, this pole supports comprehensive lighting configurations while ensuring dependable operation in various environmental conditions.
Comparing to Traditional Lighting
Unlike traditional metal utility poles, this Ponderosa Pine solution offers natural resistance properties enhanced by professional CCA treatment. Compared to legacy fixtures, the wood construction provides excellent electrical insulation characteristics while delivering the structural performance needed for modern LED lighting systems without the thermal expansion concerns of metal alternatives.
Operational Advantages
Energy Usage
Designed to deliver optimal support for energy-efficient LED lighting systems, this pole's configuration allows for strategic fixture placement that maximizes coverage while minimizing the number of required poles. The dual cross arm capability supports comprehensive lighting designs that reduce overall project energy consumption.
Visibility
Provides consistent lighting platform stability with its 6.7-inch minimum top diameter and 20.5-foot above-grade height. In practice, this elevation and structural design ensures optimal light distribution patterns while maintaining fixture positioning accuracy over time.
Durability
Engineered for high performance in outdoor environments, the CCA pressure treatment process protects against termites, decay, and rot according to American Wood Preservers Association standards. Additionally, the Class 4 rating ensures structural integrity under significant load conditions, supporting long-term reliability in demanding applications.
