Disclaimer: LED Lighting Supply is not responsible for improper loading (ie what is mounted to the piling), installation costs, or foundation design of piling. Dimensions and specifications of pilings are subject to change without notice but the tip and butt dimensions will always be within ASTM specifications. While our main product line is southern yellow pine, we at times are able to offer other species including douglas fir and red pine. All poles are treated with CCA unless specified otherwise. Our standard treatment is .60 pounds per cubic foot.

Please be advised that our wood pilings are covered solely by a 1-year workmanship warranty, which ensures that the pilings are free from defects from the manufacturing process, and structural integrity, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Professional-Grade Marine and Construction Piling Solution

This 25-foot Class C Southern Yellow Pine piling delivers the structural integrity and chemical protection that marine construction and foundation projects demand. Built with 0.60 CCA treatment per cubic foot, this professionally treated timber provides reliable performance in challenging waterfront and ground-contact applications where long-term durability is essential.

Why Facilities Choose This Product

  • Engineered to handle demanding conditions with Class C specifications ensuring consistent structural performance
  • Built with Southern Yellow Pine for superior strength-to-weight ratio in marine environments
  • Offers reliable chemical protection through 0.60 CCA treatment that penetrates deep into the wood fiber
  • Designed to deliver precise dimensional standards with 6-inch minimum tip diameter and 12-inch minimum diameter at butt measurement
  • Provides consistent quality through ASTM D25 manufacturing standards and American Wood Preservers Association compliance

Suitable Environments

  • Marine construction projects requiring foundation support in saltwater and freshwater applications
  • Commercial dock and pier installations where structural integrity is critical
  • Industrial waterfront facilities needing long-term ground-contact performance
  • Bridge and infrastructure projects demanding reliable timber foundation systems
  • Residential and commercial bulkhead construction in coastal environments

Metal Halide Replacement Benefits

  • Unlike traditional untreated timber options, CCA treatment provides decades of reliable performance in harsh conditions
  • Compared to legacy foundation materials, Southern Yellow Pine offers superior workability and structural consistency
  • By comparison to concrete alternatives, treated timber provides flexibility and shock absorption in dynamic environments
  • From a cost standpoint, this piling delivers professional-grade performance at a fraction of synthetic material costs

Performance & Safety

For facilities that require dependable structural performance, this Class C piling maximizes lifespan by using pressure-treated CCA preservation that penetrates throughout the timber. The 580-690 pound weight range ensures adequate mass for stable installation while maintaining workability during construction operations.

From a safety perspective, the minimum circumference specifications of 19 inches at tip and 38 inches at three feet from butt provide predictable load-bearing characteristics. Additionally, the ASTM D25 manufacturing standards ensure consistent quality control that construction teams can rely on for critical structural applications.

In terms of longevity, the CCA treatment process strengthens safety through proven chemical protection against decay, insects, and marine borers. This preservation system reduces downtime thanks to extended service life that minimizes replacement and maintenance requirements over decades of use.

Setup & Mounting

Installation teams will find this 25-foot piling engineered for efficient handling and placement using standard marine construction equipment. The precise dimensional tolerances support accurate driving and positioning, while the Southern Yellow Pine species provides consistent density for predictable installation behavior. In practice, the standardized treatment penetration ensures reliable performance regardless of installation method, whether driven, jetted, or augered into position.
