Disclaimer: LED Lighting Supply is not responsible for improper loading of light fixtures or other attachments, use, or foundation design of light poles. We are solely a supplier of lighting solutions, metal halide replacement lights, and poles for parking lots. Final pole assembly is the responsibility of the purchaser. Dimensions and specifications of a round or square composite light pole are subject to change without notice. See the data sheet for current pole data charts. Custom sizing is only available for large order quantities. Pole caps are used in place of other mounting options when necessary.
Please be advised that our composite poles are covered solely by a 7-year workmanship warranty, which ensures that the poles are free from defects from the manufacturing process, such as welds and structural integrity, for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

High-Performance Fiberglass Light Pole for Demanding Environments
Built for environments where durability and wind resistance are critical, this 20-foot above grade fiberglass light pole delivers exceptional performance in challenging conditions. The square 4-inch profile provides optimal strength-to-weight ratios while maintaining the structural integrity needed for high wind zones.
Engineered to handle demanding conditions with a total installed height of 25 feet, this pole combines lightweight construction with superior resilience. What makes this fixture valuable for buyers is the advanced fiberglass composition that offers flexibility under stress while returning to its original form after wind events.
Comparison to Legacy Lighting
Unlike traditional steel or aluminum poles that suffer from corrosion and weight-related installation challenges, this fiberglass solution eliminates many common maintenance issues. When upgrading from metal pole systems, facilities benefit from a non-conductive material that won't rust, rot, or deteriorate over time.
- 68-pound weight versus hundreds of pounds for equivalent steel poles
- Non-conductive properties eliminate electrical safety concerns
- Flexible design bends under stress rather than breaking
- 25-year UV protective fluoropolymer coating versus frequent repainting needs
- Fire resistant with no fuel source for flame propagation
Installation & Mounting
The direct burial installation method simplifies the mounting process while ensuring secure foundation stability. With 5 feet of below-grade depth, the pole achieves proper anchoring without requiring complex concrete footings or anchor bolt systems.
- Direct burial design eliminates need for anchor bolts or base plates
- Lightweight construction reduces crane requirements and labor costs
- Top cap included for complete weatherproof installation
- Square profile provides consistent wall thickness and strength
Safety & Performance Certifications
- High wind zone rated with detailed EPA specifications for winds up to 130 mph
- Non-conductive fiberglass construction meets electrical safety standards
- Fire resistant properties provide enhanced safety in wildfire-prone areas
- .205-inch wall gauge ensures structural integrity under load
Warranty & Support
- 7-year manufacturer warranty covers material defects and structural performance
- Fluoropolymer coating backed by 25-year UV protection guarantee
- Custom color options available for specific project requirements
- Technical support for wind load calculations and installation guidance
Frequently Asked Questions
What wind speeds can this pole handle?
The pole is engineered with specific EPA ratings for winds ranging from 70 mph (EPA 15) down to extreme conditions at 130 mph (EPA 1.4), making it suitable for high wind zones.
How does the flexibility benefit performance?
The fiberglass construction is designed to bend under extreme wind loads and return to its original position, preventing the catastrophic failure common with rigid steel poles.
What maintenance is required?
Minimal maintenance is needed due to the non-corrosive fiberglass material and long-lasting fluoropolymer finish that resists UV degradation and weathering.
